Sindh’s Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) shot and killed two accused terrorists from the banned Sindhudesh Revolutionary Army (SRA). The SRA was engaged in the Saddar bombing on Wednesday. The suspects’ possessions also included guns and explosives, according to CTD police.
The case of the Saddar explosion, which killed a young man and injured 11 others, has been investigated by CTD Investigation Incharge Mazhar Mashwani. He stated that they had reviewed the available CCTV camera material and taken witness accounts.
A federally-based intelligence agency informed the CTD Sindh about the presence of terrorists in the Keamari region in the early hours of Wednesday. In response to the intelligence, a coordinated operation was carried out at the terrorists’ hideaway. The suspects opened fire on the raiding team as they saw them approaching, and the raiding squad replied, resulting in a shootout. Two accused terrorists were apprehended in a wounded state after a brief gunfight, but their companions managed to escape.
The wounded suspects were brought to a nearby police station and proclaimed dead. There were a lot of explosive stuff ball bearings, detonators, fuses, a detonating cord, and a remote receiver.
Mashwani named the suspects Allah Dino and Nawab, claiming that Dino was the architect of the Saddar bomb and was also identified by CCTV video showing him riding a bicycle and parking it in the Saddar parking lot on May 12.
According to the CTD source, Nawab was also the facilitator who provided the gang with housing, ammunition, and other supplies. Further inquiry is underway, according to the official.
When a vehicle of the Pakistan Coast Guards was travelling along Daudpota Road near Lucky Star at 11:20 p.m,a bomb exploded. If the car was the intended target, that has yet to be determined.

A large detachment of law enforcement officers sealed the scene, including police and Rangers. “The explosion was triggered by an IED [improvised explosive device] put on a bicycle,” an official stated, adding that Muhammad Umer, Sadiq’s son, was killed in the event.
In 2000, Shah and his longtime comrade Shafi Burfat founded the Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz (JSMM), breaking away from the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz, a major Sindhi nationalist party. Burfat, the head of the JSMM, was born in the hamlet of Sehwan, District Jamshoro, and now lives in Germany with several of his companions. According to those close to Shah, the SRA founder hides in an Iranian border town, where he runs his terrorist group.
The JSMM had declared their militant actions for their cause, started political activities on the JSMM’s platform and organised the Sindh Liberation Army for terrorist and sabotage acts.
A special investigation squad of the Sindh police apprehended Shah in Karachi’s Akhtar Colony in 2005. He was imprisoned for five years. When he was freed in 2010, he split up with his former collaborator Burfat and founded the SRA. According to sources close to both factions, Burfat’s group has deteriorated on political and terrorist fronts over time, while Shah’s group has become more robust.
